Taylor Made Imola Putter
Like all the putters in the Kia Ma series, the Taylor Made Imola has both the performance and the looks to succeed in any setting on the golf course.
It's made of soft carbon steel, with a midnight black finish that still avoids glare because of the matted finish on the crown. Like the Daytona and the Monaco, it's a blade putter, but unlike the others it doesn't have tungsten weights in the rear of the club, because it doesn't have a back pocket to hold them. It has a curved neck that also sets it apart from its sister clubs.
The surface of the Taylor Made Imola is smooth and silky, with no rough edges to work around. That makes sense, given Kia Ma's reputation as a designer. He's long been a legend among the PGA Tour professionals who use Taylor Made putters, but this is the first time he's released one of his signature models to the public.
The suggested retail price for the Taylor Made Imola is $360, so there are cheaper products on the market. But there aren't many that have the look and feel of a modern classic, like this one looks like it is destined to become.
