Scotty Cameron Studio Select Kombi Putter
Looking to become a more accurate putter and avoid the miss-hits that lead to bad numbers on the scorecard? The Scotty Cameron Studio Select Kombi putter might be the solution.
The Kombi's head is shaped in 6061 aircraft aluminum rather than his usual steel, in order to get the oversize shape that Cameron wanted without making the club too heavy. However, there are stainless steel weights in the sole that give the head of the Scotty Cameron Studio Select Kombi the proper heft.
These weights are interchangeable and can be modified by the company to fit the desired shaft length. The club comes in 33, 34, and 35-inch shafts in both right and left handed models, and the weighting is slightly different for each to achieve the proper balance.
Critically for many golfers, the top of the club head is also an alignment gauge. Red lines form a t-shape figure that help square the club to the ball at impact.
The Scotty Cameron Studio Select Kombi is toe-balanced, and therefore designed for players who use the inside-square-inside putting stroke rather than those who swing the club straight back and straight through the ball.
Its suggested retail price is $325.
