Ping Redwood ZB Putter Review
As a part of the company's Redwood series, the Ping Redwood ZB putter comes from hearty stock and courtesy of a company that has been an innovator in club construction for half a century.
The Ping Redwood ZB was a late addition to the series, which features putters milled from 303 stainless steel. It is a heel-shafted model, angled slightly from heel-to-toe with a robust 340-gram clubhead. The Redwood ZB features a small cavity with a single white sightline that aids in alignment and low center of gravity to provide stability and forgiveness.

The Redwood series marked Ping's entry into the high-end market, as evidenced by the $250 retail price for the Ping Redwood ZB. The company knew that it needed a record of strong pro-level performance to help it enter the new marketplace, and was fortunate to find a fan in Lorena Ochoa.
Ochoa, one of the best golfers on the LPGA Tour, switched to the Ping Redwood ZB in 2008 and won her first tournament with the new putter by 11 shots. She went on to win the LPGA's Player of the Year honors for the third year in a row, so clearly it's a club good enough to win with at the best courses in the world. Most golfers will find it works quite well for them as well.
