Ping
While you are looking for Ping putters review, it is important to understand the history of Ping putters.
Ping Golf started in the 1950 and was run out of a garage by Karsten Solheim. Karsten was a golfer and an engineer at General Electric. In the 1940s and 1950s, Karsten was getting more and more frustrated with the putters available at the time. He did not feel that they delivered adequate performance, and on the golf course, he felt held back by the quality of available putters. That's when he made up his mind to create his own brand of putters.
He milled the very first Ping Putter in his garage. The name came from the sound that his new putter made when it struck the golf ball. Perfectly balanced, his putters resonated when they hit the surface of the ball, making a sound similar to the sound of a fine glass that has been tapped.
His putter quickly became a worldwide phenomenon, and that was the beginning of Ping Putters.
