Odyssey White Hot Tour Rossie Putter Review

Odyssey calls its White Hot Tour Rossie putter “an updated version of a modern classic,” and that’s not just marketing speak. It’s a shape everyone recognizes with a technology that’s hard to see in the pro shop but easy to notice once the round starts.

It’s a mallet putter that has a full-shaft offset and double-bend shaft, which helps many golfers line up putts. The Odyssey White Hot Tour Rossie putter also has five alignment lines, two on the back cavity and three on top of the clubhead. The combination all but forces golfers to line the ball up correctly, since everything is pointing the eyes at the ball and then at the hole.

The White Hot Tour Insert adds an elastomer core to a urethane-infused hitting surface to add force and flexibility. It also saves weight to be placed on the outer edges of the club instead, increasing the MOI. Also increasing the MOI is the head weight, perfectly balanced and optimized thanks to weight ports in the club sole and engineers who know how to adjust the weight to match the shaft size. Another nice touch is the three-degree loft that helps get the ball up and rolling, making for a truer path to the hole.

All of this makes the Odyssey White Hot Tour Rossie putter a balanced and lethal device that saves strokes in every round by keeping the ball pointed at the hole. It’s well worth the price at $149.
